This is Alex with my third wedding of the season!
Stephanie and Jamie’s wedding won out as having the most beautiful floral arrangements I have ever seen! They had them modeled after Van Gogh’s Starry Night, and they, like the original, had quite an impact! The ceremony was laid back and beautiful with everything else put on the fast track! With a total of an hour to get all the other shots, I prepared for the worst, but Jamie and Stephanie’s laid back approach and calm demeanor made the whole day run smoothly!

Anne & Josh

Anne & Josh will be tying the knot on June 5th of this year. It’s always fun taking engagement photos so close to the wedding date. It feels like it’s a good warm-up for the real deal. This was my first time shooting at Lake Phalen. I can’t believe I didn’t know about this gem until now!! The lighting was fantastic and the scenery was so diverse. The best part was, there were lots of people there, however that made no difference in the photos. Anne & Josh are going to have a wonderful wedding day, and I can’t wait to see them in 6 weeks!
They preferred to skip rather than walk over the bridge. This is totally them, so I’m in love with this photo!
I got some cool ring shots while Anne changed.

Rowan – 6 months

This week was all about those 6 month old boys! Rowan was not quite ready to sit up on his own. However, for the short period of time he could sit up, he gave us some great shots. He especially loved sitting in the bucket, which alot of kids like at his age. We started losing Rowan towards the end of the session, but thankfully managed to capture a few family shots at the end.
