Heidi and Justin
Posted on October 28, 2010
Heidi and Justin had scheduled their wedding in mid October with hopes that they might catch a break from the summer heat and enjoy a crisp autumn day. They forgot one thing, this is Minnesota. Although not their ideal day, they were given an unseasonably warm October afternoon with the sun bright and the temp in the 80′s. It was hard to complain!

Final Fall Mini-Sessions!
Posted on October 27, 2010
It was a crisp and gorgeous fall afternoon at Lebanon Hills Regional Park for my last outdoor mini-sessions of the year. I had a blast working with all of the families! First up is a previous wedding client of mine, Dominic and Josh with their 6-month-old, Gehrig!

Next is Logan, who just turned 1 year! I remember doing maternity photos for his parents a year ago. Wow, how time flies!

I don’t think he liked the feel of the bark on the tree.

Little Addison was my next subject. What a cutie full of personality! She was full of smiles, until I went behind the camera.

Lily and Wyatt where up next! Last time I worked with these two adorable siblings was May. During that session, Lily turn her turn in not wanting to cooperate. For this session, Wyatt sure gave us a run for our money!

Our little secret with this shot is that Wyatt wasn’t very happy about his mom putting him down. Actually, he was pretty upset. Thank goodness we took the shot from behind.

Yup, this about sums up the whole session, right Tricia??

We got a winner with Smarties! Finally!

My last session of the night was Rowan, who is also nearing his 1-year birthday. I last saw him and his family when he was 6 months old. Rowan was probably one of the happiest babies I have seen! All you had to do was laugh, and he would crack up.

Russell – Class of 2011
Posted on October 25, 2010
Russell is a senior at Eagan High School, and like alot of the guys I work with, he wasn’t too thrilled about taking his photos. I really couldn’t blame him, since he and his dad were stuck behind here in MN while the rest of their family went away on an impromptu trip to Aruba for MEA weekend! Yup, I definitely wouldn’t want to be back here taking photos with me vs. vacationing in Aruba. In fact, they were leaving right from this session to catch a plane! Russell was still able to work some of his magic and pull through for some awesome shots. We started out the session with the Eagan Cross Country Team finishing up a practice run out at the park, so several students were asking him, “Are you taking your senior pictures now?? Awwwww! Make sure I get one!” Actually, now that I think about it, most of the girls were the ones making comments.
Oh, to be young again! Well, Russell, I hope you thoroughly enjoyed your trip to Aruba. I must say that I was just a little bit jealous.

Finishing up the session with a photo with Dad!
