Jack Bradley – 8 days

Jack Bradley was such a great baby to work with for his newborn session. Even though he was strong-willed (and not to mention strong, as well!), I was still able to work with him pretty easily. He slept the whole time, which also made my job easier. Jack came into the world late, big, and long. The poor guy didn’t make delivery easy for his mom being over 9 pounds and nearly 23 inches long! Hopefully his size will help give mom & dad some sleep during the night very soon. 
He was a very smiley kid once he was comfortable and sleeping well.

Ethan Reid – newborn

I think I’m starting to get the hang of these little people. Ethan was over 10 pounds when he was born, and thank goodness he wasn’t delivered the natural way. Even though his mom was hurting from the c-section, I’m sure she was thankful that he came out the way he did. I sure was after my 10 pound son was born! Anyway, this “little” guy took some time to get to sleep, but once we changed his diaper (which he hated, but what newborn likes having their diaper changed??) and fed, he was good to go. We were able to really work with him as much as we wanted. I am in love with these photos and so glad I got to try out a few new things. Enjoy!!
Love this!! He was a super smily kid while he was sleeping. I’m actually disappointed that I didn’t get more!

Christos

Little Christos is a little over a week old and did beautifully for his newborn session. I was talking to his parents prior to starting the session and discovered that we go to the same church! Our congregation is quite large, so it makes sense that we have never really talked to each other before. But, they both seemed very familiar to me, so who knows! Christos came a little earlier than expected and was still over 8 pounds. Thank goodness he did come as early as he did for his mama’s sake He slept for most of the session, and then when it was over, was calm and wide-awake… which actually happens quite a bit with these newborns. After all, they are sleeping for a good 2 hours or so! Here are Christos’ adorable photos.
