Mona & Jason – Married!

I had never heard of Greenfield, Minnesota and was surprised to discover it’s only about 45 minutes west of the twin cities. The proximity is about all this hidden treasure has in common with Minneapols/St Paul. From the lush willow tree groves to the sweeping fields, this was by far the most beautiful location I have ever had the pleasure to shoot in! Mona and Jason were a great couple to work with, battling the heat to get some beautiful shots and keeping a smile on their faces the whole time. I’m not sure if I’ll get an opportunity to shoot a wedding this beautiful for a while!

Danielle and Andrew

It is always a pleasure when I get the chance to shoot a couple from my Alma mater! Danielle and Andrew are a wonderful duo who happened to both graduate from St Ben’s/St John’s, a lovely little oasis in St Joseph, Minnesota. It’s been said the school attracts a certain type of individual, and judging by these two lovebirds, I’d say that adage rings true. Danielle and Andrew were such a pleasure to work with, from the getting ready shots to the first dance I had nothing but an amazing time documenting their big day! Thanks guys!

Stephanie & Andrew – Married!

Finally, sunshine!! (Alex again, who is a little excited about a wedding with no rain!)
This wedding was a site to behold! Taking place at the beautiful Sofitel in Bloomington, Minnesota, it offered a subtle french elegance perfect for a beautiful contemporary ceremony. The hotel offered so many colorful areas, each extraordinarily different, each lending itself to a new dynamic photograph. Shooting a wedding here was like having a photographer’s playground, with a new set around every corner! Stephanie and Andrew’s playful personalities and energetic attitudes made my job look easy! Thanks guys!
