Ashley and Matt – Engaged!

It’s Kristin with another engagement session. I met Matt and Ashley at Minnehaha Park for an evening shoot. After weaving our way past the HUGE line of people at the Sea Salt cafe, we went down to the base of the water fall. They have been taking dance lessons to prepare for their wedding day, so Matt spun and dipped Ashley to test out some of their new moves during the session. We wrapped up the shoot at the historic Minnehaha Depot to catch the last rays of the sunset.

Erin and Ryan – Engaged!

It’s Kristin with an engagement session. Both Erin and Ryan had their high school senior pictures taken at the nine mile creek in Bloomington, so they decided to have engagement session there too. You’d never guess that the humidity was 98% on the day of this session! It was ridiculously hot and muggy, but we all took off our shoes and waded through the stream to cool off. Ryan and Erin had so much fun playing in the water that it was easy to capture lots of natural candid shots.

Stephanie & Andrew – Married!

Finally, sunshine!! (Alex again, who is a little excited about a wedding with no rain!)
This wedding was a site to behold! Taking place at the beautiful Sofitel in Bloomington, Minnesota, it offered a subtle french elegance perfect for a beautiful contemporary ceremony. The hotel offered so many colorful areas, each extraordinarily different, each lending itself to a new dynamic photograph. Shooting a wedding here was like having a photographer’s playground, with a new set around every corner! Stephanie and Andrew’s playful personalities and energetic attitudes made my job look easy! Thanks guys!
