Angela & Hee Suk
Posted on March 29, 2007
We ventured out to the Como Park Conservatory this past Saturday to take Angela & Hee Suk’s engagement pictures. They are getting married this July, and from the looks of it, are completely head over heels for each other! They met through Tae Kwan Do, somehow. Apparently, it is a long story
I was very excited about this engagement session for a number of reasons, but mainly because it was the first time this season we could be outside without freezing! And, the weather was phenomenal and perfect for taking pictures outdoors. A little bit of sun was poking through the clouds, but overall, a cloudy day. For those of you photographers out there, you know what I’m talking about… ![]()
Anyway, here are some of my favorites from their session. It was hard to choose, because there were so many good ones!

Adelynn Rose

My friend Kerry brought her 2 month old daughter over for some pictures. She did such a great job, both of us thought she was posing at times! Adelynn was such a good baby to take pictures of. The flash kept on going, but she just kept on batting her eyes and smiling for the camera. And no, her eyes are not really that blue. I just had some fun with photoshop.

She let us know when picture time was done…

Let’s Groove with Spare Key
Posted on March 22, 2007
I was asked to photograph an event on March 3rd at the University Club in St. Paul. It’s for a charity called Spare Key. It’s an organization that helps families with children in the hospital for long periods of time. They work in conjunction with big mortgage companies like Wells Fargo and U.S. Bank, along with donations from people and companies, to pay 1 month’s mortgage for the family. There was a recipient family at the event, which was called “Let’s Groove”, who spoke about how much Spare Key helped them during their time of need. Tim Mahoney was the special guest of the evening, as well as the entertainment. Belinda Jensen, meteorologist from Kare 11, was the emcee for the special event. For more information about Spare Key, please visit http://www.sparekey.org.

Another couple enjoying the evening…

Gabe was boy who was in the hospital directly after he was born, due to a heart condition that required surgery. As you can see, he is doing much better at 7 months of age.

I love this shot of the food…nummy!

Gabe’s older sister was the first one on the dance floor. She wasn’t shy at all!

The Leis were for a game played at the end of the night and the flashing glasses were from last year’s event.
