Stephanie & Sean – Engaged to be Married on May 17th

Whew! What a nice break it was for the holidays. Now, back to work

I shot Stephanie & Sean’s engagement pictures this Saturday morning at Lebanon Hills Regional Park in Eagan. We were originally going to do the pictures at the studio on Thursday morning, however I was feeling under the weather. Boy, was it great that we did move it to Saturday morning! The snow was falling beautifully, no wind, a crisp 25 degrees… it all made for some gorgeous pictures. Aside from the deep snow we had to trudge through, everything went perfectly. We were even able to head out on the frozen lake for some neat shots. They are doing the long distance thing for now, but their marriage is only a few months away. I’m looking forward to being a part of that day this May!

Allison & Dana – Married on December 15th, 2007

Allison first inquired with me at the end of November of this year! I was a little surprised to hear that she was only getting married in just over a month when she was starting to look for photographers. Granted, she was just engaged this summer and was getting married during a non-peak month, so I guess it’s understandable. Anyway, Allison & Dana’s wedding was simply beautiful last Saturday. They were married at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Inver Grove Heights with a reception at the Embassy Suites in Bloomington. Dana is in the Marines, so he returned just a few days before his wedding! Allison thankfully had alot of help from her friends to plan the wedding. Enjoy the sampling of pictures from their day!

I got some fun pictures of the girls playing. The other flower girl is the bride’s sister, so technically, these girls are aunt & niece! (well, step-aunt & niece)

Ok… I think these are some of my best bouquet & garter toss shots. Well, at least I think I caught them at the right time.

Mckenna & Lucas

Mckenna & Lucas are children of one of my landladies, Nyki. We finally got around to scheduling a session for their Christmas portraits. Mckenna is 7 (going on 8 ) and Lucas is just 6 months old. He isn’t quite sitting up yet, but we got some great shots of him sitting in the Bumbo and on his belly. He also had some help from his older sister in alot of the pictures. After this session, Nyki’s entire family came in for one big family portrait. It was definitely the largest group on my studio and on my set! I don’t think it could have fit many more people, either. It was Nyki, her family, her parents, her brother, and her other brother & wife. Enjoy this peak into their session!
