I was counting as I drove away from Amanda & Mike’s home in Stillwater. In the past year, I have driven out there 5 times (including Monday’s session) for photo sessions! This isn’t a problem for me at all, obviously. They are a wonderful & beautiful family to work with. I was honored to hear that Jack couldn’t stop asking his mom when I was going to show up. It’s really great to know that they love my work enough to keep bring me out there for pictures of their family. This was probably my best session yet, however it’s hard to pick from the other great sessions I’ve gotten in the past. It was cloudy and ugly outside, but the photos were gorgeous. I had a very hard time narrowing my post to just these pictures! Enjoy!!
Jack is 3 1/2, almost 4.
Little Martin just turned a year old. He was only 6 months the last time I saw him!

Hmmmmm…. how many frames does it take to get a 3 year-old and a 1 year-old to both look at the camera at the same time?? Probably 60 or so…. 
Amanda wanted shots of them in their diapers/underwear before getting their costumes on. Adorable!
At this point, Martin was hungry and not a happy camper.

Trent & Jacqui

Saturday I had the pleasure of attending Trent & Jacqui’s wedding out at Afton Alps. It was my 2nd time out there, but my first time outside for a wedding. My last wedding there, it was over 90 degrees and incredibly humid, so we were outside for a grand total of 15 minutes! It was completely opposite for this wedding. The sun peaked out for maybe 15 minutes and it never really warmed up over 70. The forecast called for party sunny on Saturday, but it certainly wasn’t living up to it’s expectations. It was chilly!
Trent & Jacqui met 5 years ago at the company they still work for today. They really had put alot of thought and work into planning this wedding and pulling it off. It was truly a beautiful wedding & reception, especially with the fall colors they choose for their theme. My associate Betsy was with me for this wedding, and you can view her pictures here. Dave, Renee, Drew, & Ryan

I met up with Dave & Renee and their two boys Drew & Ryan on Saturday morning. The weather was a cool to start out with, but then got pretty hot as the sun started to rise. Thank goodness, we were able to get done with pictures before it got too hot! Drew is a very active and talkative 3-year-old and adores his little brother, Ryan, who is 10 months old. Dave & Renee really have a beautiful family and it was such a pleasure to work with them!
After taking some more formal pictures, we headed over to another park a few minutes away to let the boys play on the playground. These are always the fun pictures.
