Jack & Martin – A studio session

I last saw Jack & Martin at their house this past October, so it has not been too long since I worked with them. Their mom, Amanda, wanted to bring them into the studio for some pictures instead of me coming back out to their home for some Christmas shots. It was their first visit to the studio, which was alot of fun for all of us! Amanda’s mother, Jan, tagged along this time as well for some pictures with her two grandchildren. Amanda is due with baby #3 in March, so I hope to see them again when the baby joins their family!
Amanda brought these flowers from home to see if we could get some pictures of the boys smelling the flowers.

Isabella – 6 months old

Isabella was my 2nd session of the morning on Saturday. She did so well for the pictures despite the cold she was fighting. I absolutely love working with this age. Izzy was sitting up fairly well (she needed a little help from our bucket and the boppy pillow ) and she was mostly smiley for the session, until her cold started catching up with her at the end. Here are some of the pictures from her session.
Whenever she smiled, she had this tongue thing going on that was simply adorable!!
Izzy’s mom, Amy, took her first Christmas pictures in the same rocking chair. How great is it they were able to get Izzy in the same chair for her first Christmas!

Grant & Tessa

Grant & Tessa came into the studio for my first session on Saturday morning. They were delightful children who came more than ready to take pictures. In fact, they were almost too ready for pictures. Every time we got them ready to take a shot, they would flash these HUGE grins and say “Cheeeeeeese!” It was actually really cute, but at the same time, I wanted them to relax and have a little fun to catch some more natural moments. Thank goodness I did end up capturing them enjoying themselves, because they took some fantastic pictures! Enjoy the few I’ve posted!!
