Mckenna, Lucas, & little Emerson :)

It was great to see Lucas & Mckenna again!  I last saw Lucas a few months ago for some individual shots, however this time he brought his older sister and his little cousin.  Emerson is only 4 months old, but he was full of smiles.  It was definitely a challenge to get all of them together and looking at the camera, but all things considered, I think we got some good shots.  Lucas wanted nothing else but to run around and explore everything in my studio, so getting him to sit still for a picture was not going to be easy.  Mckenna is 9 years old and was such a pleasure to work with.  She listened very well to instructions and ended up with some gorgeous pictures.  I hope to meet these three again very soon!!

Evan & Ben

Little Evan and his big brother, Ben, visited the studio on Tuesday evening.  This was my third time photographing Evan, but my first time meeting Ben.  Evan is now 8 months old and has grown up so much since the last time I saw him 4 months ago.  Despite that, I could still see the same cute face staring back at me during his shoot.  He also gave us lots more smiles this time around.   Ben was such a great helper and assistant while we were taking just Evan’s pictures.  Too bad I can’t have him around full-time!  We were even able to get outside for some pictures, the first time for me this year!!

And yes, their eyes really are that blue.  I didn’t enhance the color at all!!

Amy brought these in for Evan’s shoot, but this was the best we could do with his name spelled out in front of him.  As you can see in the next picture…

What a gorgeous day it was on Saturday afternoon for this family session!  I last saw Paige & her mother, Amy, when Paige was only 4 months old.  Now, she is a rambunctious little toddler who did not want to sit still for pictures.  As challenging as she was, we still managed to get some keepers from the session.  I’m looking forward to working with this family again!
