Jessa – 6 months

Here is Jessa, my other “Watch Me Grow” client. I can’t believe how much she has grown in the past 3 months. Her mom says she is off the charts for both height and weight, and I must say that I’m not surprised. She is in 18 month clothes already!! It will be interesting to see how tall she really will be as she gets older. Even though she looks like a 12-month-old, we were still able to get some very cute baby pictures of Jessa. She was mostly smiles for the camera, until the very end when we put her on her tummy with some bunny ears on

Introducing Chase Jane!

This session was supposed to be more of a newborn session for Chase when she was just a few weeks old, however both times we tried to schedule it, one of her 2 older brothers would get sick! We were actually able to get today’s session in, thankfully, because I was really looking forward to shooting her pictures. Chase is 4 weeks old and absolutely adorable. She is the younger brother of Jack & Martin, two boys that I have the pleasure of photographing regularly. Now, I get to be a part of documenting little Chase as well! After my first experience with her, I can’t wait for another opportunity to work with her.
I also decided to re-buy Canon’s 100mm macro lens. I say “re-buy”, because I sold it over a year ago. I didn’t think I would need it, but now I know this was my missing element for portraits. Therefore, I had to “re-buy” it from B&H Photo. I loved working with that lens again!
Her mom brought this hat in to use. It suited her perfectly.

Here are some photos from Andrew’s first trip to my studio. He is going to be 12 weeks this Friday, and I wanted to get some pictures in before Easter. It was a little nerve-wracking having Nicholas hold Andrew, but I made sure to have enough free hands there in case something happened. There were a few scary moments, but Andrew came out of it OK. I adore the pictures I got!! Here are the highlights from the session.
