Mya & Mason
Posted on May 28, 2009
Brrrrr! What a chilly night for a photo shoot, however the clouds made for some decent lighting. I can hardly believe it’s supposed to be 80 degrees tomorrow, when it barely got into the 60’s today. What a couple of cuties these two were! Mya just turned 3 and Mason will be 7 months in a few days. Poor little Mason was super tired, so he didn’t even make it all the way through our session. I am in love with the pictures by the beach of Maya and the fun ones of her laughing. She just learned a new knock-knock joke, which made her crack up every time. It’s always great to have a little “tool” to get a child to sit and laugh, even if you get sick of it.
“Knock-knock. Who’s there? Banana. Banana who? Knock-knock. Who’s there? Orange. Orange who? Orange you glad I didn’t say banana??” Classic.

Paige & family
Posted on May 26, 2009
Paige had her whole family in town this past Saturday, so why not get everyone together for a big family portrait?? Seems like a good idea to me, especially since I was their photographer.
This was a wonderful family to work with. There were the parents, their kids, their spouses, and then the kiddos…. 15 people in all! They all dressed great, too! The kids were in white and the adults were in black. I loved how they looked all together! We managed to get lots of group shots, as well as individual shots of of the kids. Enjoy!

Logan & Garrison
Posted on May 26, 2009
I met up with brothers Logan & Garrison at a park near my studio on Saturday. The appointment was originally scheduled for the morning, however Mother Nature had different plans. So, we were able to move it to the afternoon! These two were adorable! The last time I saw them, it was 6 months ago for Garrison’s 6 month pictures. Back then, it was such a struggle to get Garrison to smile and this time wasn’t much different. We did manage to squeek a few out of him, especially when he was on the swings. Logan seemed to really respond to reverse psychology, so with the help of his parents, we got some great shots of him. Here are some shots from their session! Feel free to leave any comments for me or the family!
“I just want my mommy… and I really don’t like this grass!”
I love these next two shots! Think of how cool they would look on a wall side-by-side
