I’m going to be out of the office until late on Monday. We are heading up north to spend some time on good ol’ Boot Lake! I will be checking my emails on a daily basis, but not too frequently. Thanks and have a great weekend!

University of MN Medical Center Golf Event & Dinner – Town & Country Club

I was honored to be asked to photograph this event for the 2nd year in a row. Every year, the University of MN Medical Center hosts a golf outing and dinner for all of their medical staff and most administrative staff. This year, as well as last year, it was held at the Town & Country Club in St. Paul. Most of the guests play golf starting after lunch and then head in for dinner. Gift certificates are presented to certain individuals and teams based on their play. I am not a golfer, but definitely enjoy watching people play while taking their pictures. I do, however, have to remember to keep quiet and still while they are focusing on their shot. 
Last year, the guest speaker was Tubby Smith from the Gopher Men’s Basketball team. This year they invited the Women’s Basketball coach, Pam Borton.

Jen, Brad, & …. ???

I last saw Jen & Brad last May for their wedding! Check out the pictures here. Now, they are expecting their first child this October, and they hired me to take some maternity shots for them. I have actually never done maternity pictures outside, so this was both fun & challenging for me. It was a blast getting to work with these two again, especially now that they are welcoming a new member to their family. :)
