Heather & Dan – Engaged!
Posted on May 30, 2010
It was a beautiful night for Heather & Dan’s engagement photos. We met at a park near Dan’s house that they frequent often with their two dogs. I’m always a little apprehensive going to new places suggested by clients, however this little park worked out great! I think the best part was that Heather & Dan were completely at ease and comfortable throughout the session. The photos are here to prove it.
I’m looking forward to seeing them again for their wedding this August!

We had a little guest during this photo!

And then we took some time at the end to reward our little guests with some food. They sure loved it!

Ruby, Nathan, Gabriel, & Vivian!
Posted on May 25, 2010
I was able to work with just Vivian back in March for my mini-sessions, however I didn’t get a chance to see her older siblings until Saturday. Man, they’ve sure grown! These kids are also veterans of Live and Love Studios. It’s always great to be able to work with children as they grow. They all behaved great, except for Gabe, who is smack dab in the middle of his terrible 2’s. He wasn’t too eager to cooperate, until we brought out the candy. Then, he was more than willing to do what we asked in exchange for candy. You gotta do what you got to do! It was pouring rain when we were doing the session. Because it was so dark, I don’t believe my windows played any part in these photos. It was all my strobe lights, and thank goodness I had them! We wouldn’t have been able to do the session due to a major lack of natural lighting!

I think there’s a Smartie in his mouth there somewhere

Logan & Garrison
Posted on May 25, 2010
I’ve been photographing these boys for a while. This is probably my 4th time working with them? It had a blast working with them once again. Logan is 4 and Garrison is 2, which puts them both at such a great age for playing (& fighting) together. The weather was a little iffy that morning, but the rain and the sun held out for our session. It was definitely colder than any of us thought it would be! What we wouldn’t give for it to be just a little bit cooler right now, though… hard to believe it’s only been a few days since then!

Giving me the ol’ stink eye
