Kasey & Reagan

Two adorable girls make for some awesome photos! Newborn Reagan was wide-awake for photos, and she sure made things interesting. I love her expressions, especially when her big sister Kasey was near her. We snapped some photos of Kasey while Mom was tending to Reagan, so Kasey got to share in some of the spotlight. 
Get ready for a slew of newborns… I have 4 within the next week!!

Cianna – 2 1/2 years

It was so much fun to work with Cianna again! She was a graduate of my Watch Me Grow program, but I was able to work with her and her extended family a year ago. Now it was just Cianna and her mom this time, and we were able to get some great shots! The lighting was so perfect, it was a breeze to take the photos. The difficult part was getting a spitfire like Cianna to do what we needed her to do. 
She had on the cutest shoes, but hated wearing them. We told her she could take them off and insisted on doing it herself!
We were in the parking lot talking after the session and the light was just stunning!

Madeline – 10 months

Madeline was my first of two mini-sessions on Thursday afternoon. We shot the photos in the Sculpture Gardens right outside the Walker Arts Center in Minneapolis. What a beautiful night it was! It was a little hot, but the breeze kept things comfortable. And, in the midst of a week with rainy weather, both of my sessions scheduled this week were on the nights without rain. I last saw Madeline when she was 3 months and have worked with her parents for their engagement photos and wedding photos! It was such a joy to see how much she has changed in the past 7 months, curly hair and all!!
