Little Brothers, Friends of the Elderly

As a side job, I volunteered to do some photography work for an organization called Little Brothers, Friends of the Elderly. This organization was actually passed to me by a former wedding client of mine who thought I might be interested. Here is their website & mission if you are interested about learning more:
“Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly (LBFE) is an international non-profit volunteer-based organization committed to relieving isolation and loneliness among the elderly. We offer, to people of goodwill, the opportunity to join the elderly in friendship and celebration of life.”

I plan to do a series of pictures from their different groups that gather a few times a month. The first group I attended was their monthly needlework group. What a wonderful group of people! It was really fun to talk to everyone and hear people’s stories. I really enjoyed the fact that this group of seniors have someplace to go and socialize and not be alone. I can only imagine what that must feel like, which is why I took on this job to help this volunteer organization. Stay tuned for more images from their different groups!
