Evan – 1 month
Posted on July 19, 2011
This little guy was one unusual 1-month-old. He not only slept for most of the session, but he was nearly impossible to wake up when the time came to get some photos of him with his eyes open! We tried everything from changing his clothes, diaper, position, etc… Finally, we stripped him down to a diaper and rubbed his back. After changing his position around several times, he started to wake up. Evan wasn’t happy, though, that we had woken him up from his deep sleep. However, some mommy time seemed to calm him down.
Older brother Nolan was a wonderful helper for the session and took some pretty cute photos of his own. You can tell he is very excited to be an older brother to Evan.

A beautiful head of hair!!

Graham – Newborn
Posted on June 24, 2011
I’ve worked with Graham’s older sisters for the past few years, but I got the pleasure of meeting their new baby brother, Graham, earlier this week. Addison and Brooke were both very excited about their new brother and it really showed. They were so good with him! Graham was a little feisty for the session, but overall, we got some great images for his newborn photos. Enjoy!

Hannah Dae – 1 week
Posted on June 10, 2011
I think Hannah was quite possibly one of the easiest newborns I’ve worked with… ever! She slept with such ease, I didn’t have to put much effort in to get her to sleep. Usually, I let the newborns do what they need to do, and go with it. When you have really sleepy newborns, it’s kind of fun to see the shots you get. :) I also have the pleasure of photographing this little one at 6 months and 12 months, since she is now a part of my Watch Me Grow program! If her newborn photos are any indication, her 6 month and 12 month photos are going to be amazing as well!!

Finally got her awake at the end of the session!

I couldn’t believe this… she is only a week old and grinning at her mom, while awake!
