Annie, Matt, & Brynn – Maternity!

Annie was my last pregnant mama in my series of expanding my portfolio and experimenting with different lighting and locations. This session was more about location vs. lighting. You would never know it, but we didn’t get very far from the parking lot at Elm Creek Park. And, there was frisbee golf going on around us and bikers, rollerbladers, and runners coming down the path right behind us! Despite all of that, the photos turned out amazing, and you would never know all of that was going on around us during the session. I have photographed Brynn a couple of times prior, and she is always full of energy and never fails to crack me up. She is one happy little girl! I also adore the photos between Brynn & her pregnant mommy.

Jenni, Zack, & baby Zoey :)

Jenni & Zack are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their first baby girl, Zoey Dawn. Jenni was another volunteer for my maternity photos I wanted to work on expanding. During this shoot, I was also able to try out some more of my new backgrounds. They both turned out looking fantastic! Jenni & Zack were completely hilarious during the shoot, and to prove it, have some outtake photos that did no make the blog… I guess you’ll just have to trust me.

Ellen & James – Maternity

Ellen & James are my second test subjects for expanding my maternity portfolio. Ellen is actually my new associate for the 2011 wedding season, so here she is! Ellen & James are expecting their first child and are waiting to find out what they are having. I’m going to guess boy, but only because she is carrying the exact same way she carried when I was first pregnant. I was wrong about my last guess, so we’ll see if I’m right about this one! She is 38 weeks and ready to have this baby. In fact, she thought that the baby was going to come yesterday…. hmmmm… I haven’t heard anything yet! This is also my debut of one of my new backdrops, Aged Bokah. Without further ado, here are Ellen, James, and the belly.
