Baby Update and 2012 Portrait Pricing!

It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted any updates on my blog. Actually, it’s been a while since I’ve posted updates on even my Facebook page!
First of all, in two weeks I am scheduled to deliver my baby. My plan is to not take any sessions until mid-March, unless it is for my Watch Me Grow clients. I also plan on holding a round of studio mini-sessions on one of the last Saturdays in March. When those are announced, I’ll probably announce the rest of the mini-sessions through at least June or July. In addition to the mini-sessions, I plan on holding my next Photo Mama class around mid-April.
Secondly, in light of the fact that we are further expanding our family in a few weeks and I still had more business last year than I really wanted to take on, I changed up my pricing structure for 2012. It is really the only way to cut back on my workload. As much as I love to work with as many clients as I do, it just isn’t sustainable for my business or my personal life. I’ve still tried to incorporate discounts for returning customers and made my mini-sessions reasonably priced, compared to my full session fees. I will be posting an updated link to my blog titled 2012 Portrait Pricing. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me!
I will be posting photos of our new little girl as soon as I can.

Big News!!

I’ve been holding out for a little while to officially announce this, and now it’s time! I am expecting again and due in January. Also, we just found out this morning that we are expecting a baby girl! After having two boys, we aren’t sure how to handle this, but we definitely are excited. It’s going to be different, that’s for sure! And, thank goodness, there is no placenta previa this time. The risk of me being put on bedrest is slim to none, which is awesome news for all of the business I have scheduled in September and October. Anyway, I’m happy to say that this is kept short and simple, unlike my last experience. Oh, and I’ve posted a few of the ultrasound photos in case you wanted to see a little peak at our new little girl!
