Angela & Julie – Married!

I wasn’t prepared for the brilliant wash of color so early in the season, but Angela and Julie’s magnificent wedding in Decorah, Iowa swept me off my feet. This was the wedding I have been waiting for, the sort of thing I’ve only seen in magazines. All of the details were so carefully crafted and meaningfully created to suit the overall joy surrounding their day. It was an honor to have the opportunity to photograph and I really feel that the love present in everyone shines magnificently through the photographs. Please enjoy them as much as I do. Angela & Julie – Engaged!

These two were meant for each other. In my years photographing couples, I have never seen such powerful love, grace and honest affection. It made my heart melt a little. We managed to squeeze in this engagement shoot only 2 weeks before the wedding taking place in beautiful Decorah, Iowa.
The way Angela and Julie talk about it, it should be absolutely amazing. In the meantime, here are a few of my favorites from the engagement shoot.
