On Saturday, Elliott was the first of my 3 photoshoots. He is going to be a senior this year at St. Thomas Academy and loves to run on their cross country & track team. In fact, we had to push the shoot back an hour, so he could compete in a couple of races in the morning! Elliott actually got a little sick after his second race, but he was ready to take his pictures and it shows. He is still deciding on where he wants to go to college. Among his choices are Gustavus Adulphus, St. Thomas, St. John’s, & University of Colorado-Boulder. All I care is that he picks St. John’s over St. Thomas. 🙂 Go Johnnies!
Ok, so this pictures needs a little explanation. There is a grotto behind St. Thomas Academy with this stone wall. Apparently, Elliott is the first person to jump this wall, so they wanted a picture of him doing just that.
His sister Chloe tagged along, so we got a few pictures with her and Elliott.
I love this shot. He really wasn’t running all that fast, but it sure looks that way!
Congrats, Elliott! Hope your senior year is fantastic!

I am Elliott’s mother and had attended the photo shoot. I am deeply impressed with Jackie’s ability to not only capture my son, his school environment, and his love of running but the ability to creatively capture his personality at just the right angle ensuring that all irrelevant details are out of the photo and all extraordinary details are in.
Jackie’s ability to envision the photo and to execute is fantastic! Additionally, it was simply a lot of fun!
